Trillians Rockbar

Been twenty plus years since the last time I was in here and I'm convinced some of the same people were sitting at the same tables having the same pints. Well maybe I'm wrong but the tunes from the jukebox haven't changed a bit. Excellent rock bar, proper staff, plenty of booze and music from last century. Very much worth a visit

Booze fairly priced. Nearly everyone is super chilled here. Definitely get down this back alley rock bar for a gig. They dont mess about when it comes to good music wether it be 80s, 90s, or 00s. Reccomend the nights where Van Hailen are playing. Quite a regular band in there. Absolutely reccomend it. Pictures are from when a KISS tribute came in and what the stage looks like normally. Tip, no one watches the 5 minute videos you record, live in the moment here to enjoy this place the most you can.

Quality little dive. That might sounds strange but this is the sort of rock bar that was common 20+ years ago and you can tell that by the decor and clientèle. The floor is blackened and sticky, some of it could once be classed as carpet. The toilets are complete with urine soaked floors and tiny stalls. Service was exemplary with lovely, friendly and polite staff. Drinks prices were standard. Music was old, as we're most of the patrons, but there is something very comfortable and safe with these classic bars. It was an enjoyable evening and I'd love to go back if ever I'm in the area again.

First time visit to Trillions Rock Bar whilst in Newcastle to see a friends band playing. Having never been in a rock bar before I didn’t know what to expect, however I was not disappointed. The atmosphere in the bar was electric (literally). The staff were friendly and efficient and the price of beer was surprisingly good for a city centre bar. All in all, a great night was had by not just myself, but by everyone in the bar. Great venue, great entertainment, nicely priced beer and a spot on service. 5 stars.
