The Goose Stonehouse Pizza & Carvery

I have recently ordered 2 too good to go bags from The Goose Stonehouse and they were both absolutely excellent value for money. On both occasions I paid £3.29 for the roast carvery and also on both occasions the tubs were filled to the brim. The quality of the food was excellent and as was the service, I do recommend to anyone in the surrounding area.

I recently had a delightful experience at The Goose in Newcastle. My friend and I purchased a Groupon deal for a 2-course meal for two, and from the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by a friendly barmaid who provided us with all the necessary information. Despite the slight setback of only turkey being available at 7 pm for the carvery option, our experience was overwhelmingly positive. Upon noticing the cauliflower cheese looking a bit tired, I mentioned it to the barmaid who happened to be the manager on duty, named Shiv. She was incredibly accommodating and promptly arranged for a fresh batch to be prepared while we waited comfortably. The dedication of both the chef and Shiv to ensuring our satisfaction truly stood out, and they exceeded our expectations with their customer-focused approach. Although the male toilets left much to be desired with their overpowering smell and hygiene concerns, the exceptional food quality and top-notch service more than made up for this minor inconvenience. I would highly recommend The Goose for its delicious food and outstanding service, but I do advise ensuring a visit to the restroom elsewhere beforehand or exercising caution during your stay. Overall, our experience was fantastic, and we look forward to returning for another memorable dining experience
