Bar Blanc

Great hotel and bar all in one just on the out skirts of newcastle. The students offer a friendly and alternative atmosphere I enjoyed. The carvery was fantastic the bar staff was well presented. The office personal who booked us in and served us offered a fantastic service with a friendly smile that felt warm and welcoming xx.

Despite living nearby, we have never been in. However, ordering Bar Blanc's delivery has brought us great joy throughout all these lockdown weeks. We've tried a lot of the menu, but it's the nachos and enchiladas that I particularly crave— and no order we put in is without the chicken strips and extra guacamole. The portions are generous, the prices are fair, the food arrives quickly and warm, and it's always very uplifting. Thank you, Bar Blanc. Hope to go in soon.

I went for lunch with someone I support. They had cheese burger and chips while I had bacon/cheese jacket potato with salad. The food was a good price for the area and didn't take long to come out especially as the chef had arrived not long before us. The man who served us was very nice and let us know there may be a longer wait than usual as they had just opened. My jacket potato was lovely and a very large salad. The only issue was that there was a salad sauce all over it. If I had known I would have asked to not have it so I ate hardly any of the fresh, lovely looking salad but I know for the future. The person I support really enjoyed their burger which looked lush. They did say that the chips were cold, they were hot when they came out but cooled quickly. May have just been down to sitting near the door. I don't know but they were nice other than that. I will go back and I will recommend. Would like to go back with friends to try the drinks there.
