Fantastic place to eat in Newcastle. I had the mixed grill with a side of tarka dhal, it was delicious. The restaurant is so central, very easy to walk to, with lots of bars around. I would say give it a try.

Well this was an unexpectedly lovely surprise. My son and I had struggled to find somewhere open and decent and came upon this place, Staff and owners are really really nice. They make all food in-house - nothing manufactured. Their intention is that the food is made in the same way and as good as they would make at home. I will come again (and I live in London).

Great place. All of the dishes have their own unique taste and flavor. Just had a quick chat with the proprietor and he has a wonderful perspective on how to run this place.

Visited here during restaurant week. The restaurant was packed but the service was very efficient. Staff were very friendly and the food was fantastic. Will definitely return.

Absolutely amazing, I'm from Bradford where we have amazing indian restaurants, and only Birmingham can compete with Bradford. Well Ayla you certainly have done a fantastic job, you belong alongside the best

Was introduced to this lovely restaurant by my boss, been a few times now and usually served by the lovely Shahan. Took my husband yesterday who was equally impressed; great service, lovely decor and Grey Street location, fab food in a friendly atmosphere 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Not a huge place with toilets down in the basement. Really enjoyable meal here for our friend's 60th. Quick service by pleasant staff. I had a lovely lamb bindi curry.....and also a bit of Nigel's spicy lamb bhuna as I mistakenly said 'yes that's mine' to the wrong dish 😂 We all cleared our plates and emptied our glasses - we had a delicious bottle of Merlot and there were a lot of pints of Kingfisher drank by the lads. Only surprise was the poppadoms. We asked for 2 each with pickles but they only come in a basket of 6 and aren't big and round but smaller triangle shapes🤨

What a wonderful place! The food was perfect and everyone enjoyed their meals! So flavoursome and wonderfully cooked. The food was authentic and the flavours were on point! The owner of the restaurant was lovely and really attentive. Definitely five stars!!

We came on a busy Saturday night without a booking and the staff generously found space for us. The food was excellent, really delicious. You could tell it was made with very fresh ingredients. The staff were so attentive and really friendly. We will definitely be back! Thank you for a lovely meal.
