Great spot for brunch. The steak and eggs was stunning; an awesome combination of flavours and well presented. Staff are friendly and prices are reasonable.

Really lovely food and staff - just one comment though, I think it’s a bit cheeky to charge 70p for mayo and not mention it when ordering… might just be me though. Apart from that all good.

An absolute Gem!!
4 of us and my year old nephew had lunch and it was really delicious. Great menu including a bambino burger for the little one. The surf and turf was fab, the regular steak was delicious, the prawn sandwich amazing and the bairn loved his too. The appleslaw was delicious. Excellent service and happy smiley staff. Recommend to all in Heaton, Gosforth and anywhere in Newcastle really. A GEM!!!

Pastrami sandwich- one of the best I've tasted in a long long time, flavours outstanding, portion sizes great
My partner got the double patty muffin too and this was incredible.
We ordered takeout and it only took around 10 mins to come, late lunch time.

First time here during the day but we'll be back fairly soon. Wonderful wide choice of dishes, including extensive all day breakfast selections. All the ingredients seem to be locally sourced and from great suppliers too (Charlotte's Butcher's, Block &.Bottle, Pink Lane Bakery, Northern Rye).
The in-house hash browns were the highlight of my Veggie Big 'Un and the rest of it was wonderful too.

The Toon pastrami sandwich was excellent, packed with tasty slices of pastrami on door-stopper slices of Northern Rye sourdough. So good. I’d recommend asking for the honey mustard mayo on the side for less mess, found it quite sloppy otherwise. The chips (fries) were skin-on and really nicely cooked, I’d definitely get them again.
Not sure about the aubergine and halloumi sandwich, lovely taste but it all got a bit wet and sloppy to eat.
Overall, a great place for lunch with huge portions and for a reasonable price.

Great food and service. The sanwiches are very big so if you are not very hungry I would recommend you to share. The quality is great and the bread is lovely. Plenty of vegetarian options too.

Went to smoke and sear at HWKR market in Newcastle about a year ago. The food is absolutely delicious!!! I got shrimp and steak which was absolutely delightful and my freida got a good old smash burger which I tasted and was unreal... only complaints is portion sizes are small and price is really high. You can get same quality food for cheaper
