Verde Luna

Where do I start with Verda Luna. It is just an amazing authentic family restaurant. I'll start with the service. The team are welcoming, warm, friendly, and kind. The food is outstanding and massive portions (always enough for takeaway). You can truly taste the years of love and dedication that has gone into mastering the true flavours that are shown in every dish. On our last visit we took our elderly Grandmother, who can sometimes be picky with the menu, but this was no problem for the fantastic staff. They were accommodating, patient, warm and friendly with her and made her feel like just part of the family. My Grandmother still talks about "That lovely lady that served her that night".

AMAZING!!!!! ……… Food was delicious, huge servings. Pasta and pizza is the best we’ve eaten, nothing in FNQ comes close. Service was fast, staff were friendly, polite and extremely helpful. Our waitress was on only her second shift and for a table of nine she smashed it. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Sitting here right now. Restaurant half full. Almost an hour since I ordered. Just 2 simple meals. Will I ever get to rate the quality of the food? It's anyone's guess at this stage. Follow up: I never did get the food. Approached the waitstaff 50 minutes after ordering. Was very rudely told that it wasn't their problem and I should speak to the kitchen. Kitchen staff stared at me blankly and did not respond at all. I left. Cannot recommend in any way.

No Frills, Just Food! Whilst Verde Luna may not have the most contemporary space the food definitely makes a trip to Verde Luna worth while. The garlic prawns are to die for and the pizza and pasta are amazing. A word to the wise: bring your appetite as the servings are generous and if you have a separate stomach for dessert, try something that is made in house. Bon Appetite!

I visited Verde Luna, the Green Moon on Wednesday night. They were jammed packed with customers and the staff super friendly and patient despite the physical demands of waitressing and difficult ordering. Not only was the food and wine decadent but the staff commendable. Particular mention to Alison (who I swear must have financial connections with the restaurant as her demeanour was impeccable). Also there was Rachel who was patient, hardworking and steadfast with the manic demands of customers. Verde Luna is authentic, awesome value for money with beautiful Italian Macedonian service. Many thanks to Alison and her family, and I look forward to dining there again.

We went to the Verde Luna on Friday night as a family dinner and we were very happy with both our meals and our very friendly service. It was a great atmosphere in the restaurant that contributed to a great experience. We ordered: Garlic Bread (very nice) Fettuccini Bolognese (excellent) Fettuccini Carbonara (excellent) Supreme Pizza (star of the show) Definitely going to be returning.
