Mavericks On Darby

My review, mavericks; mavericks is a well designed restaurant with adequate service. Food; the food i ordered was called ‘The aussie’ this chicken schnitzel was one i’ve never seen before, the bacon on top was hard for me to eat as i would cut the chicken and the bacon would move away, saying this i might recommend giving us, the customers steak knives not butter knives, it had beetroot on the schnitzel below the bacon which was covered in melted cheese, the taste of the bacon was really good however the cheese didn’t help the flavour, the schnitzel itself was quite good, it wasn’t dry and it wasn’t floppy, The chips, these chips tasted good they weren’t soggy nor were they burnt, The salad, the salad i had was very good but the dressing could be changed so it is better, the mix of tomato basil and lettuce made for a good salad. The poop review, i have not pooped yet although my bowels are trembling by all the flavours of this wonderful meal. with the addition of the live performances it makes the environment of the the restaurant even greater. Desert, the desert i have chosen was a chocolate ice cream with chocolate sauce on it, the sauce is very very distinct compared to the ice cream it musks it sent even. I will be giving this fine establishment a rating of 4.5. i do recommend going here.

Amazing! Going for a walk in the afternoon I should've never ate chips while going back home, but who cared! I went to The Mavericks because it was the nearest. The food that I had was extremely extraordinary, I had a Beef Burger and Chips. The burger was delicious along with the chips! So, when we went back home I found something very amazing about the food... because it had put a smile on my face! Go ahead and try it!

Visited Mavericks for the first time today and was not disappointed! Ambience is nice with a good selection of music in the background and a spacious setting. Staff were attentive and friendly, anticipating when we required service and when to give us space. Food: for entree we had the sriracha chicken which wAs lightly crumbled and had a hot sauce and a ranch sauce in the side. The chicken was tender and the hot sauce had a good ‘bite’ to it. We also tried the smashed pumpkin and tortilla chips- this was amazing, would definitely have this again!!! For mains we both had the crispy skin salmon and scallops. This was served with a fragrant broth which smelled divine and had a nice kick of chilli in this. The salmon was cooked perfectly, as were the scallops. Overall, a great experience. Will be back!

Seems people are giving it a 1 or a 5. I'll settle at 3. Descent bar, spacious when not too busy, overpriced and the food portions are pretentious. If you are a sports bar, don't sell expensive finger foods.. give us platters.. I'll pay the price, but give me heaps of loaded nachos and make me smile! Berger's are good. Keep those:)
