Terrific chips and fish. Staff super friendly. Had a marvellous time. Ask for the chess board if you are bored while waiting.

Just bought two burgers some fish cocktails and chips and gravy, haven’t been here for probably six months food prior to today has always been great but today worse than average, fish was just mush🤢 the chips and gravy average and the burgers just bearable

Staff friendly but can't get past the calamari that was stringy and the crumbing undercooked and steam into mush. Chips underdone and yellow. Fish was muddy wet and not well cooked. Either dirty or under temp oil used.

BEST FISH & SCOLLOPS IN NEWCASTLE !
The chips were very average. I didn't like them as I think they are frozen chips , but the Scallops were 100% fresh. The ladies who serve the customers are very , very friendly and they have the BEST customer service skills

$1 surcharge for a $15 purchase is approximately 15 times the legally permissible surcharge. This behaviour has been unlawful for years and the dodgy operators are profiteering from the use of EFTPOS at the expense of their customers. I’m giving them 1 star, David.

The chips were ok but they took an obscene amount of time to get there (1 whole hour, we were forced to play hay day on our phones). The chips came out unsalted and bright yellow, but ok. another complaint is that other people who came after us who had larger orders received there's first. Bad service, ok food.

$5 was extremely small serve considering its just chips... cooked well though very nice tasting chips and fast service. a little smile too customers being served wouldnt hurt.😁
