Gold Creek Time Square

Everything was great!!! When it comes to value for money, cleanliness, comfort, room size and location, this place ticks all the boxes. We stayed in the queen en-suite room and it was perfect. Good sized room, big bathroom and comfy bed. I’ve stayed at a few places in Canberra and this place is top of the list. I didn’t get to enjoy the breakfast or dinner but if I’m to come to Canberra again, I’ll be booking here :)

I did not get what I booked. I booked a bunk bed with a double Queen bed as per their confusing advertisement. Instead I got a row of bunks... In a room with no place to sit. It was the worst ever experience. I ended up booking another hotel in last minute effort. At the end I was questioned if I made a mistake. Instead of giving me the correct room I was refused to get the refund. I'm going to take the matter to ACCC for missleading and confusing advertising and possibly to court. Not happy and not sure if the relatively high star rating is real ..

Both bedroom and bathroom are spacious and clean. Free parking. Pillows are flat but not a problem at all, we’ll bring our own next time. Nice and quiet especially at night. Walking distance to cafés, museum, aviary, chemist and fast food. Lots to see! Only 20 minutes drive to Canberra. WiFi is slow. Friendly reception guy 👍🏼 Overall, still a nice experience and highly recommended 👍🏼
