Light Years - Noosa

We had the short walk up the hill from Hastings Street to have dinner at Light Years. And we would walk up again. Everything was delicious. So much flavour packed into each dish. The crab dumplings are amazing. The pork katsu bao are to die for. And the duck pancakes were so delicious I wish we had ordered it twice. Highly recommended.

Great vibes, amazing food and quality service. Vego options which is necessary. The lighting sets the right mood for a good night of dinner and drinks, food was ordered and it didn't take long for plates to be ready. Fish bao buns were a highlight. Really enjoyed our experience, I'll be back if ever visiting Noosa from Melbourne again!

When we see high rates of reviews we get skeptical. But boy oh boy, this place exceeded our doubtful expectations. Food is exceptional, we did enjoy every dish we ordered. There's no hit and miss here. Every dishe is individually well executed and as a whole works so well. Portions are big enough to share, and great attentive service, in a locally inclusive atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner tonight.

During our short stay in Sunshine Coast, we had two dinners at this wonderful place. We recommend parking at the public car park because it is difficult to park due to limited spots. The staff is so nice and courteous. The menu is terrific and you'd see a wide range of Asian foods including some vegan options. The wait time is not so bad and we enjoyed every meal.

Lovely restaurant, the meals were well presented and good customer service. The prices were expected for Noosa so more expensive than SC or Brisbane. Disappointed in the lack of vegetarian/vegan dishes especially when the wontons (one of the only vegetarian options) were removed from the menu to be replaced with a seafood variant. Overall, the eggplant baos were incredibly tasty and would order again.
