DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS HOTEL. They have absolutely no policy that protects you and your booking should you get COVID 19 and be prohibited from continuing your stay. They must be the only hotel that does not offer a fair and reasonable solution should you have COVID 19 in the days prior to your stay. This hotel only will offer you a solution if they re-sell your room and we all know how much effort they are going to place into re-selling a room when they have already secured $800 for the night. They would not even offer a reschedule or a credit. I have engaged my solicitor who advised that there are grounds that we should have been offered at minimum a 12 month credit given that the government has imposed these restrictions however its a pure shame that I now have to engage the ACCC and a solicitor to seek out what is fair and reasonable. This hotel should have had the decency to offer a suitable solution without us having to go down this path. Unfortunately COVID wasn't kind enough to offer us 30 days notice of when we would get it to ensure we didn't lose our $800 or have the ability to offer a fair solution. Yes they have a cancellation policy but it does not protect you for COVID. I've travelled frequently during this pandemic and this is the ONLY hotel I have ever come across that cannot offer its customers something fair and something reasonable. I definitely do not recommend you book here unless you are willing to lose any money you have to pre-pay should you fall victim to the horrible virus that COVID is.

My wife and I booked a penthouse suite for a birthday weekend away Room 23. The room was clean and tidy with amazing views of the main beach. The problem started on night one with what was a very badly dented bed mattress the result was not a good nights sleep, not wanting to cause a fuss I didn’t not say anything to reception at that time. Night two when I went to use the hot tub on the roof most of the water jets did not work and the adjustment knobs were mostly broken, the tub worked but it was not up to expectations. On the morning of day day two after a night sleeping on the couch due to terrible mattress I spoke to reception who advised they would put a topper on the bed to help with the problem. This didn’t not really help much as the problem was with a broken mattress. Overall I feel quality of the room was a bit lacklustre considering the premium prices. Maintenance of the room could have been much better. We had another group of people with us staying in another room who did not have any of these issues. Not sure if I would stay here again.

We recently were married in Noosa and our bridal party and family all stayed at On the Beach- we stayed for a week and in a word it was amazing- a special mention to Chloe on reception, Thank you so much for everything from the first day we looked at the rooms, to the day we checked out you have been so accomodating, and nothing was a problem. To all the staff thank you for making our stay such a breeze and for being so friendly. We will definetly be back. The resort is sensational.
