El Capitano Pizzeria & Bar

Really loved dining here! I was sold as soon as I laid eyes in the menu, so much on there that caught my attention and before I sat down I knew I’d have to come back here again lol. The food didn’t disappoint, cocktails were great and service was even better. Big thanks to Mandy our server. She managed to slip us in even though we didn’t have a booking and was really well informed when it came to recommendations and the menu.

Lovely ambiance although service was a bit slow. We tried the: 🍕 San Daniele Prosciutto & buffalo mozzarella - a lot of different textures and flavours, refreshing dish 🍕 Wild mushroom Pizza - really good base and very flavoursome. Would recommend this 🍕 Potato Rosemary, crispy prosciutto & burrata special - quite salty and super heavy

Fantastic place! Ambience, decor, menu, friendly staff and delicious pizza! We were smitten by friendly staff. They went out of their way to find a table for our family with two kids. Pizza was outstanding. Octopus dish was so flavourful! We loved it. Decor is so fantastic. If we lived in Noosa I would hang out here every day. I have a special appreciation for all little details of this place including decorations on the take away box. Yes, my husband could not get over your pizza. So, he had to take away next day😁

Put simply, pizzas are really delicious, service is very average - hence the 3 star review. We were seated, not offered any water and practically ignored by wait staff for 10-15mins with no opportunity to order a drink whilst we watched other tables seated after us be attended to. Eventually flagged one of the girls down to take both our food and drink order. Spicy pepperoni pizza and the zucchini pizza were amazing although my partner was 3 slices in to his pepperoni before my zucchini pizza arrived. Once again, had to ask staff where my pizza was. Pizza itself had a nice thin and crispy base and perfect amount of toppings with no sogginess. Really great added bonus for the evening was the guy playing acoustic tunes - set list was bang on and could listen to him for ages. Overall, come for the pizza and ambience not the service.

Great place and great food where we found the real mozzarella, and the prosciutto was thinly cut as it has to be. Pizza was amazing. The service was timely, friendly, and professional despite the place was busy. We really enjoyed the atmosphere, and the music selection was super cool too. Great place, highly recommend. Next time to Noosa this will be our one stop food destination.
