Via Roma

Via Roma is an essential comfort food restaurant in the NoCo area. Full disclosure, I do work the front counter in the summer, but that’s because I already enjoyed Via Roma and I love the owners, so it makes me happy to help them during the busy season! The food is awesome, and my whole family have favorites here: Pizzas (shawarma delight, Roma special, and buffalo chicken), Greek wrap, lamb gyro, the homemade falafel, meatball subs, etc. It’s all so yummy, but the pizzas are a work of art!! Diners tell me every day how much they enjoy our food - portions are big and filling - nobody is leaving hungry! I gave service 4 stars for the simple reason that we are rarely fully staffed. It is very important to the owners that people feel comfortable and taken care of, and we do our best to accomplish that! Thankfully there are times we are so busy and trying to take care of so many orders that mistakes happen, but we are open to making it right when you let us know. Ordering ahead is also super helpful, and that curbs disappointment when we are busy and pizzas are taking 45-60 minutes! Lastly, atmosphere- we do our best to keep the dining room cool and comfortable, there are outdoor tables, and lots of self-service opportunities (plates, plastic ware, cups, to go boxes) so you don’t have to wait for someone to be available. Oh, we also don’t do pre-made pizza slices because the owners want to preserve the quality of your pizza, rather than giving you subpar slices that have been sitting around. So all in all, Via Roma strives to make yummy comfort food and take care of you and your family!

Food was amazing. We all very much enjoyed our dinners. Traditional Greek pizza house, tables were a bit "sticky" but omg the food more than made up for this. Staff was friendly and accommodating, no table service just so you are aware, order at the counter and they bring the food out. Highly recommended!

We just wanted simple spaghetti and meatballs. Went to another place in town but didn’t want to wait the 45 minutes for a table. So we went to Via Roma. So glad we did. Meatball parmigiana was amazing !! Came out quick and the staff was really nice !! Will definitely be coming back to try other stuff!

First time I tried going here it was an hour before close and they told me the were only offering pizza, not the full menu. The next day I knew better and called - similarly they said they closed an hour before their online and storefront advertised time. That being said, my husband and I ordered a wrap with hummus, chicken, and veggies and a side of hummus/pita. It was good, but the menu listed chicken schwarma and we only got grilled chicken. Menu also didn’t list olives so I didn’t ask for no olives and the sandwich came with them, thankfully east to pick out. Staff was friendly, not the best food I’ve ever had but a great green option for Conway.
