Ciao Pasta

We were pleasantly surprised with this place. We had heard good reviews and decided to try it. It was delicious, authentic and everything was homemade. The risotto balls were excellent, the bread and diced tomatoes were a nice starter that they bring out before meals and we both enjoyed our main courses. Service was great as well! Would recommend for sure and will be going back.

Today we learned that we lost a place that we call home due to a fire. I don't usually post anything but I need to tell you that this place is like Cheers. If any of you are from my generation then you understand what that means. This is not just a restaurant. This is a family owned business, a place that makes you feel like you are going home for a Sunday dinner, a place that you are known by name. We have enjoyed so many amazing times sitting and talking with the staff and the customers. My heart is so sad for you! WE want you to know that you have this community backing you 100%. We would do anything for you and your family. We won't say goodbye but we'll see you soon.

My heart was broken to hear of the fire which destroyed one of our favorite places in the lakes area. The food was always fresh, and I loved starting out a nice Italian meal with their delicious bruschetta. I hope the family finds it in their spirit to rebuild as they have a loyal following of regulars and visitors alike. Good luck to the Ciao and Hanley family. You are missed already!

Neighborhood restaurant with warm welcoming decor, family style. Prices ate quite reasonable. The steamed PEI mussels were fresh, very flavorful, maybe a bit overcooked. The salads were above average. The veal parm was good, the marinara sauce maybe a bit too sweet, but tasted the freshness of the tomatoes. Overall, very high CP. Service was excellent!
