It was our first time here, the atmosphere was nice, as well as the decor. The menu is on the wall, you're to order first and sit. The sausage,egg&cheese on a hard roll was ordinary. If the roll were buttered & grilled, it would've taken it to the next level. A little extra effort would go a long way here, as well as the lack of friendliness at the counter when ordering.

Great place to enjoy breakfast. It appears that a lot of locals go there daily, the police stop for coffee and people walking their dogs. The cafe was clean and well maintained. You can either eat up at the counter, tables or high tops. Breakfast was so filling that we didn't need lunch. We will definitely visit this place again before we leave.

Resting on their rating… I order take out for breakfast here often and lunch which usually does the trick. This morning I decided to take my wife for a sit down Sunday morning brunch at a place that has been pretty decent. We could not have been more disappointed. The service was really sub par. It felt like the responsibilities were not shared evenly between the workers and those that were available ignored us while we tried to get the attention of our waiter so we could place our order. When the food did come It was bland and seasoned only with black pepper and no salt. From what we saw there needs to be more leadership in the front of house and the mastery of the menu should be reevaluated. This place does the trick if you are working and need take out but don’t be fooled by the cute inside seating. It is not worth a sit down.

First and LAST visit to SoNo Harbor Deli & Cafe - we were looking for a new breakfast spot in the area to frequent since we are relatively new to the area. From the moment we sat down it felt rushed and unwelcoming. Our waitress was definitely irritated and over being there which was very obvious from the moment she addressed us. Very cold/short right off the bat - you almost felt like a burden for ordering coffee. For food we ordered two eggs with bacon and the corned beef hash with two eggs. She literally walked off before I was even done ordering. The runner brought us our plates and had no idea which one was which because of how little corned beef was actually on the plate. She first asked us if we could tell them apart and then was like “well it looks like you got the same thing”. We definitely didn’t, it just looked that way because of the massive pile of flavorless potato on both plates. One with specks of corned beef. One without. I also commented that my eggs were wrong and she just walked off. Likely didn’t hear me or just wasn’t listening. Eggs for both dishes were actually wrong and we never got our bacon. We thought we would get to address the issues however no one came back to check on us until they saw we were done and offered the check. At that point it wasn’t worth it. Everyone was running around, stressed, complaining to each other about checks and tables and guys in the back. I get that it’s busy but we were sitting at the bar and our waitress didn’t even make eye contact with us, let alone check on our food. You’re literally already standing there and would have taken 2 seconds to ask. Overall it was just a very uncomfortable visit and even though we live close by we won’t be back.
