I was unaware of this adorable spot until today when I stumbled upon it from another location. The staff was friendly, the pies are phenomenal (I can’t even describe how perfect the crust is!!!), and the baked goods are fantastic. You will be delighted you stopped in! I can’t wait to go back and try the banana crème pie:)

I go to Michele's Pies way more than I should. Every visit I am always treated very well by the entire staff, the lovely girls behind the counter are very well educated on the products and to my delight always remember my favorite things! This past holiday I ordered a cookie tray and a variety of pies for a party I was going to, everyone should do this whenever they receive an invitation - I was the highlight of the party!!! I pre-ordered and when I arrived for pick up, the cookie tray was magnificent! Beautifully decorated cookies that taste delicious - what more can you ask for? Michele's Pies are always fresh, in-season, and crowd pleasers. It starts with the aroma when you open the box and ends with a clean plate! Do not miss the Chocolate Pecan - it is indescribably, mouth-wateringly scrumptious! I always enjoy coming into the store and visiting your booth at the New Canaan Farmers Market! I love everything from the apple crumb pie to the zucchini bread! Thank you, Michele and staff - you're incredibly talented and professional. I wish I could give you more stars, you do stand above the rest!

Award winning good pies! Fresh seasonal ingredients are always used. If in need of a good pie...this is the place! During the Holiday season it pays to order in advance to by-pass the long lines. They actually setup distribution outside of the store for those who have pre-ordered which makes it very easy to grab and go as opposed to waiting on line - especially good in inclement weather.

Ppl may ques whether the consistency has tapered off a bit at this nostalgic haunt but lemme tell ya I recently stopped thru for the first time in ages and the chocolate peanut butter cream was as good as I remembered. Now ya gotta do a lil searchin as her shop is tucked away in a lil plaza but it is so worth the effort to locate...walking in and ur greeted by the familiar smells and glass counter poppin with eye candy in the form of delectable baked goods. Everything is made from scratch and love is still being put into these confections I can attest to that. Upon biting in you first get this deep rich chocolatey flavor with a complex roasted peanut butter finish from the pudding followed by the decadent slightly vanilla homemade whipped cream. The kicker though is the handmade crust...so light & flaky with the right crumbly texture. This pie is always a knockout!...go now b4 I eat em all!

Pies are great but your handling of the lines outside is horrible. There’s no sense of urgency inside as 10’s of people are outside freezing with the line moving extremely slow. You guys prepared with a industrial sized refrigerator outside but didn't have a better plan for the people waiting hours in line.
