I've been here with people and always enjoyed visiting. Today, I was out with our dog and had forgotten to bring water so we stopped here. They took such good care of us, getting water for Marley and giving him a treat. I enjoyed my glass of Lilleys (would have been rude not to buy a drink 😉).
We'll definitely be back.

Great value bar. Friendly staff and welcoming. Recently refurbished and looks modern and fresh with a great atmosphere. Lots of beers on tap with guest beers. Great bar for watching sports with lots of screens. Only visited for drinks but does serve food.

Ordered from the lunch menu, a sort of meal deal, requested rosemary fries but the ones that arrived didn't appear to be rosemary.
However my steak panini was delicious and overall I was happy.
Rose wine was awful but I believe that was my taste buds as I've not drank it in a while so wouldn't complain.

Didn't eat myself, friend I was with recommended, and his roast looked excellent... Watched Chelsea v Liverpool League Cup Final, excellent atmosphere, TVs to watch said footy on are everywhere, even outside... Great service at the bar also... Poor choice of on tap Cider though..., not enough to not give 5 star though

We finally visited this evening!
Staff were lovely, accommodated our 8 person table with no issues at all, food came out in good time, and well presented. Only thing we noted was that for the money you pay the portion sizes were relatively small, but aside from that everything else was wonderful!

Out for our annual Christmas dinner….love the atmosphere - very friendly staff they really couldn’t do enough for us. Food was spot on, tables decorated beautifully along with crackers. Even had some live music on all in all a very pleasant evening had by all

3 small plates for £13.50 is a pretty good deal. The place has been refurbished and the beer garden is perfect in the sunshine. The staff are friendly and reasonably priced drinks.

Best value for money pub food I’ve found in Nottingham, roast was delicious, and although we didn’t get as large of portions as when we came the other week it was still plenty. Children’s meals very cheap. Deserts are nice too. Friendly and attentive staff
