Excellent food. Been a few times and always loved it.
We had kimchi, nut chicken, bibimbap and bulgogi. Enjoyed every mouthful.
BYOB is fine, as there's an off licence 10 meters away.
One thing, though, they really need some music in there. It's a bit lacking in atmosphere, especially as we booked early and there was only another table in. It got busier later, but to start with was a bit awkwardly quiet.

Visited here with friends deciding to try something new for a change and we weren’t disappointed!
The owner (I think it was the owner) was so lovely and friendly to us, for that reason alone we were prepared to come back but then came the food which was brilliant. Given that none of us had ever tried real Korean food before we were truly mind blown.
The prices were also reasonable. We each ordered a starter, a main, 2 drinks came to £84 for 3 of us.
Couldn’t recommend this place enough to anyone wanting to try something new.

What a wonderful place!
Can't fault it. Relaxed atmosphere with very lovely staff. Best Bibimbap I've had... In fact one of the best meals I've had in some time. Went here twice last week when working in Nottingham... Wish I lived here so I could go to Sarambang regularly. Very happy customers. 😊

Visited with some friends after seeing some Korean food online, usually i am a very picky eater but decided to give new things a try. The food was wonderful and the owner was absoutely lovely. Will definitely be returning to try some more korean dishes

Ate here for lunch and everything was great. The food, the welcoming waitress, the atmosphere. Lots of vegetarian options and the chicken is halal. We had the kimchi dumplings, tofu bibimbap and chicken bulgogi with rice cake. Everything was delicious.

I really loved the food and it’s super healthy too. I ordered bibimbap and it was completely worth the price and it was one of the few places in Nottingham with vegetarian bibimbap (without the egg) so a must try place if you are looking for vegetarian korean food.

Had the most wonderful experience at Sarangbang! The food was delicious and the service was execellent! The cafe had a very cozy and lovely vibe. The owner was really sincere and kind. I left my laptop bag at the restaurant and we were the last customer on a Saturday night (the restaurant closes on Sundays and Mondays), and the owner kept my bag safe for me and made a trip the next day eventhough it was an off-day, just to return my bag to me. Thank you so much, would highly recommend this place!!❤️☺️

Sarangbang is brilliant! The food is rich and perfectly spiced (for me), and we were able to switch tables from the middle of the room to a secluded upstairs section.
There was just one young lady working front of house, but she was lovely, helpful and worked like lightning! Will definitely be back
