Lovely chilled place. No boisterous a*holes. Real ale and great staff.

Great little pub with a cracking venue downstairs (Prohibition). I come here for Mullraum which is a fantastic little esoteric techno night hidden away in the basement of this Hockley pub. Bar staff are also lovely and the smoking area is a good size. Drinks are very reasonably priced too. Recommend!

I have attended all the Deviant events so far and the second one that was hosted at Prohibition @ The Lord Roberts was incredible, it brought back the feelings of the great gay clubs I used to go to in Brighton years ago, fun and safe, no trouble just people enjoying themselves and feeling free to dance the night away, Martin was a sensational DJ and got everyone moving, Craig is a great landlord with vision and hope these events grow and continue to find a home at the Roberts. Can’t wait for the next event, highly recommended. 💕🪩

Love this pub, It's become a regular meeting spot for me and my friends to enjoy the weekly pub quiz. Good range of drinks available and always warm & buzzing with people. Shout-out to all the staff who make Lord Roberts a special place with a great atmosphere!

Popped in for a quick pint at lunchtime on a Sunday. Lovely stylish decor, with a cosy atmosphere. Good selection of drinks. Friendly landlord with a cute dog.

First time visiting and would definitely return.
A lovely , very comfortable, good atmospheric pub......I could have stayed for the duration on their comfortable chairs, but was on a mission with the family to visit many more 😉.
P.S. can't speculate on the food as it was just drinks.

Friendly staff, nice seating, good atmosphere. It has a good outside space as well. Great place to meet friends for a pint.

My friends and I came here for a gig that was happening in the basement room. When we entered the pub, I was impressed with its unique yet relaxed decor. The atmosphere was welcoming and the bar staff were particularly happy and chatty. The gig room intimate with good sound. I was very kindly provided with a seat, which I appreciated greatly.
