Brasserie Persil

My wife and I dined her last night and it was a very nice dining experience. We started with a Waldorf salad and Grilled octopus which was plenty enough to share. Our entrees were Filet mignon and the Duck and everything was cooked to perfection !. Our server was Elana and she was an absolute delight! We will for sure go back.

Last night we went to @persilrestaurant for an quick dinner out to satisfy some cravings. We hand French onion soup, Escargot, Steak tartar, fries and my husband got to try one of his Bourbon’s Apparently this place is popular on a group he follows for Bourbon or Whiskey lovers @longislandwhiskeysociet. The apps were good and I did get a Skinny Margarita but with Mezcal. Staff is very friendly and personable. Drinks were good. Food was good, but I tend to season generously and Could have used some more kick in the soup and a touch more garlic in the escargot. Steak Tartar was really good and and the accompanying salad as well. It’s a good safe bed for a night out.

Good experience and great food !! I recommend it ! Started with Onion Soup, and Steak Tartare. Both were very tasty and delicious. Risotto and lamb shank to continue. The lamb was melting and the Risotto was creamy as expected. Then chocolate mousse and crepe suzette, such great dessert to finish the dinner. Good choice of wine as well. Service was good and clean. We will go back for sure !!
