Petite Madeline Bakery

Excellent breakfast restaurant and bakery. Service was very friendly and fast. My husband and I both enjoyed our breakfast plates… the scrambled eggs and bacon were cooked perfectly. I had the croissant cinnamon swirl French toast which was also delicious. Their table water is filtered, and tastes quite nice (I am very picky about water, and usually do not like tap water). The vibe inside the restaurant is eclectic and fun, with lots of artistic touches. We would love to come back!

This little gem in downtown Oceanside was family friendly, had indoor and outdoor seating, a full menu of delicious breakfast items, espressos, and pastries. We shared a blueberry Danish before our breakfast was served and it was flaky, fresh, and iced. My Eggs Benedict was perfectly served with avocado and crispy hashbrowns. The Hostess was attentive and helpful with my little grandson and surprised me with a birthday treat! 😊

We found Petite Madeline Bakery Sunday morning quite by accident and enjoyed a wonderful breakfast! Our first trip to Oceanside, our hotel Concierge recommended several breakfast locations but we decided to give Petite Madeline Bakery a try instead. Petite Madeline Bakery is quaint yet upscale, the items on the menu look so good we had difficulty deciding just what to try on our first dining experience here and the Bakery items are beautifully prepared and displayed. Petite Madeline Bakery was a little busy when we arrived, but a table quickly was available. Staff are curteous, attentive, and professional. Our breakfast was a Vegetable Egg Fritatta Bowl with Hash Browns and it was absolutely perfectly prepared. The fritatta was so flavorful and fluffy, enjoying our first bite it was simply heaven. Topped off the fritatta with a chocolate pastry. Take a look at the pictures, they had a pastry display and are taking advance orders for Christmas starting December 9th for pick-up days before Christmas. Absolutely perfectly made butter croissant 🥐 You could notice all the layers, flaky on the outside and buttery throughout. This bakery really does know how to bake. All the other things we tasted were also good, ie. Cinnamon day buns were very nice, and so were the coffees. Definitely a perfect place to stop by for a continental breakfast!
