Swami's Cafe

Finally got to check this place out and it did not disappoint! Very spacious and great eats!! The hostess was very friendly and even offered to split an order (Nutella/coconut encrusted French toast w eggs/bacon) onto two plates for our younger kids. That was so nice! We all enjoyed the meal. I think the outdoor area is dog-friendly too. All around, highly recommend!

We weren't thrilled with our food choices here. The vegetarian Mole Enchiladas were kind of weird. Very sweet, minimum heat, no flavor in the filling. Very skimpy with the cheese and bland overall. Rice OK, beans had no flavor. Tortillas weren't warm or baked. The Reuben Sandwich was much better, though again I would have enjoyed the Russian Dressing to be less sweet. French fries were really excellent. If we come again it will be for their breakfast, which gets great reviews. It's a huge place, nothing to look at from the outside but very lofty and nice inside. No A/C on a muggy day but many ceiling fans and largely open to the outside. We weren't uncomfortable except kind of annoyed by flies buzzing around. Wait staff was efficient. Bathroom was clean.

Come here every time my best friend is in town. He really likes this place lol I think it’s good, not great. There’s other little diners around I prefer. But the food is good, and I’ve never had bad service. The only really complaint I have is their potatoes. They are super chunky and never fully cooked through to me. Be better if they were a little crispy. If you have a group, it’s better to get a bottle of the champagne, it comes with two juices of your choosing. Just saves you a little.

This is one of my favorite places for breakfast. There is a wide selection and the food is very tasty. We had omelets and pancakes. Beware the serving portions are generous. The smoothies were amazing and there is a white selection there too. Service is friendly and efficient and prompt. My favorite meal there is a salmon salad with veggies and fruit galore. The basil dressing is amazing as is the preparation of the salmon!
