Exhale Oceanside

Passed by this restaurant a lot of times but have never dined here. As we waited for our friends to meet us we decided to have drinks at Exhale. Nice size restaurant and open. Outside seating available and bar stools too. We opt to sit outside on the Coast Hwy side so that we can see our friends arrive. We both had bourbon on the rocks. Yummy! I love dark alcohol. We looked at the menu and was pleasantly surprised of the great dishes. I will definitely return to give them a try. P.S. There was an issue regarding one of our drinks and the bartender apologized and took care of it.

Exhale is launching Happy Hour this week! Last night we got a sneak peak (er, taste) of the new food Chef has created for their HH Menu. Forget everyone else's chicken sandwich, the O'SIDE HOT CHICKEN SANDWICH is ridiculous!! Spicy, crunchy, garlic chicken, with a sauce made by a Flavor God. Pickles, and an entire HONEYCOMB. You think it's going to be small because it's a Happy Hour plate, but it was filling without being overwhelming. Hubby got the fish tacos. Again, NOT A SMALL DISH, but a fantastic price for what you get. We will be back!

This is an awesome little restaurant. This is my first time taking the train to Oceanside.I couldn't find a place to eat so I actually asked a couple local police officers. They recommended the place across the street but they were so busy I came over here because it's the same owner. I was told a unique dishes was a salmon smoked Pizza. I'll tell you this kids it was fan-freaking-tastic.I like the food so much I'm posting this from the table I'm sitting at right now.if you're ever in Oceanside this is a place to look up. Service needs a little work I had to fight down my waiter twice to get a refill LOL.

If you have ever experienced the local tap house you know you have to get in line and have this Exhale experience!! The chef is amazing!
