Outback Steakhouse

I was very impressed they were very busy and told us it would be at least a 25 minute wait or more. It ended up being less of a wait then anticipated. Our service was wonderful for has busy as they were. Our server Shelby was just awesome, she was very busy but she was very customer oriented. And Derek the front of the house manager stopped by our table to make sure everything was fine, that really impressed us. My only complaint is the ranch dressing did not taste like ranch dressing and was very spicy.

The service was really good and polite, the food came out in an acceptable time, and there are plenty of gluten free options available. Even a desert, which is rare. The one issue I had was the flavor and consistency of the steak I had. It was cooked to order correctly, but the meat was extremely chewy so it was difficult to eat. It also tasted like the only seasoning they used was black pepper. I dont know if these things were due to the Gluten Free request or not, but it put a damper on an otherwise good dining experience.

Had been there years before with good experiences. Recent visit confirmed those memories. Few places can touch get a basic sirloin steak and it's a great cut and tasty. Cooked to perfection. Coconut shrimp and baked potato were great too. They clearly took their time preparing and plating. Service was good, but not super cheerful. Small issue and she prolly was having a bad day. No biggie. The chef or GM brought the food and was checking on people. Great to see. Super impressive for a chain steakhouse.
