Great atmosphere and lots of antiques to look at on the walls and also hanging from the ceiling. We were escorted to a booth..for it being a Saturday, around noon, the place was not packed all and very quiet, except for the country music that was playing and it wasn't too loud at all. Our waitress was extremely friendly and had a trainee with her today. They took our orders and we were able to visit and look at more decor. I noticed that they had a bar in the middle with bar stools surrounding the counter. The restrooms were clean and they do have a changing station in the handicaped stall. The food came out on a big tray and was passed out. It all smelled so good! My husband ordered the Southern smothered pork chops with okra and fries for the sides. I had the turkey sandwich with fries and my daughter had a cheeseburger and fries. The food was amazing and very filling, we had to take home some of it. We must of come at a good time cause when we were leaving the parking lot was packed, looked like some were going to have a party. What a great experience.. definitely recommend this place.

Excellent meal! My steak was cooked well and everything was delicious! Our server was excellent and was happy to explain everything I asked about and made fantastic recommendations based on my questions! It did have a bit of a "bar" feel but it wasn't obnoxious and I would definitely recommend this place.

The food is tasty, with the exception of the macaroni. It's boasted as "home made", but it's bland and not baked, it's just plain ole meh-caroni. The service is good and management really cares about you having a great experience, so they come around and check on you and genuinely care about your feedback. The menus need an overhaul. There are no prices on the kids' menus and the upcharges for sides make no sense as compared to ordering them separately. But, the atmosphere is great and the ribs never disappoint. They occasionally run a promotion on Groupon, which works out to a pretty great deal on a meal. Bonus according to our kiddo, is the kid's meal comes with a drink and an icecream dessert. Kids also eat free on Monday nights. Not bad!

The atmosphere was nice... The restaurant had a good feel and liked the decorations... The was good... I'm at a fan of BBQ sauce on my good. It covers up the cooking... However this was not bad... I did enjoy the ribs. Just like advertised... The meat did fall off the bone.. the sausage was not great.. but ok.. the fried fish was fried well not over done.. I don't do tatter sauce ... But the home made sauce was nice.. fried Okra was good.. over the meal was good and I recommend giving it a try.. the bar tender was very friendly and good service. The price was average... Not high and not cheap either...

Highly recommend the steaks today! The facility is clean, well appointed and server was excellent. If ribs, salad, steaks, burgers, and fish interest you, I suggest you place Shortys on your short list of places to visit. (Pun intended) As you enter, a small gift shop is the first thing you see. Cleanliness is a priority as evidenced everywhere.

Best Monte Cristo around! The raspberry sauce and powdered sugar nicely offsets the savory flavor of the meats and cheeses, perfectly battered and deep fried to perfection. The crispy chicken sandwich with the honey mustard was fantastic. Full of flavor, juicy chicken and perfectly crispy without any sogginess from the accompanying veggies- not sold on the dipping sauce for the sweet potato fries, but they were great themselves. What shocked me the most was the rack of ribs. I ordered them because they claimed it was such a popular place for ribs. The flavor was good, but the meat wasn’t fall-off-the-bones tender. It was dry and over cooked, about what I’d have expected from “any old bbq joint” rather than one that advertises perfection. I’d honestly have to say I’ve enjoyed better ribs at Chili’s. Fun ambiance, stellar music playlist, good service from friendly servers and some interesting menu options that were very appealing. I’ll be back, but I’ll skip the ribs!

The overall atmosphere is very inviting, and the food is absolutely delicious. My family, and I often stop in for a visit when spending time in Oklahoma City. The wait staff has always been polite, and very attentive. I have to also give credit to the cooks for the great tasting food they produce. I would highly recommend the chicken fried steak from here. If you’re feeling really hungry then I would opt for the large chicken fried steak. Another favorite of mine is the chicken finger platter. The hand-breaded chicken fingers are some of the best. Be sure to check out their mobile app for exclusive deals. This was something we seen as we were leaving. Also if you find a love for this place, they offer a monthly club. I believe the monthly club is a small price, and you receive benefits such as discounted prices on meals. I believe some of the information about the mobile app, and monthly club can be found on the pictures provided. Overall the experience has always been great! The food is amazing, and the staff has always been great! I’ve attached a couple pictures also.
