This place is a must stop for us when we come to town. The food is all homemade and very reasonably priced, not to mention delicious. We love grabbing a breakfast sandwich on our way out of town. Their biscuits are absolutely amazing! And, don’t even get me started on their homemade cookies…try one, you won’t be sad you did.
The employees are so friendly and welcoming. They make you feel like family. You can tell they are proud of their quality food.
Will be back every time we are in town.

Don't understand why you have to order and pay then find a seat. 40 minutes to get breakfast is ridiculous. As I'm writing this review my meal was delicious.

I've been coming to the Shartel Cafe with friends for several years. Great food and wonderful service.

It was a little strange paying and ordering before being seated but we did and the food came quickly. Everything was good. The chicken fry was a little tough but seasoned well. I also had a hard time finding the breakfast items online but full breakfast is served for anyone wondering. Overall it was pretty good.

The staff is very friendly and it seems like they have a lot of regular customers. That says something about their service. The food is reasonably priced, flavor was just okay. We came at lunch and the wait wasn’t very long even for a busy time of day. The menu has a lot of options for both breakfast and lunch.

It was our first time here, the food was good. The staff was definitely very friendly and nice. We will be back just for the service alone!

The cinnamon rolls were heavenly. The dine in experience was very pleasant. It had a “homey” neighborhood feel. I had a full breakfast. The biscuits were light, flaky and delicious. The ham was good, not too salty and the scrambled eggs were okay. The hash browns were not my favorite but the breakfast overall was very good. The cinnamon roll was the star.
