Korean House

Del City is always known for its Korean restaurants and Korean House does not disappoint. The Pork Bulgogi is very flavorful though the meat was a little chewy. The various sides of pickled vegetable and kimchi compliments the savory meat dish very well. The restaurant wasn't crowded when we came and we were promptly greeted and seated. Love the spaciousness of the dining space with tables along the windows equipped for bbq.

The restaurant is clean (dining area), modern, and nicely decorated. There are many options for non-meat-eaters, especially the banchan, so there's no problem hanging out with your fellow meat-eating friends. Food (non-meat) was ok. It's either a busy restaurant or understaffed, the banchans looked like they have been sitting in the open air for a while. Service was slow, since there were only two employees running the front... Nevertheless, they were courteous and checked on you. The older gentleman was not so nice, hahahaha, either he's the boss or just being an old grumpy man! I would not come back since the quality of the food was not exceptional enough to justify the wait and service. Bathroom is clean. Plenty of parking. Be ware of the area to park or your car might be towed away according to a sign on the entrance door.

We were there for lunch and did not try their BBQ. The dishes we ordered were decent. It lacked full flavor, especially the beef bulgogi. The service was good. Also, it's a cute place but it has a clutter of things by the restrooms and kitchen. The bathroom could use a baby changing table in the huge stall.

Tonight we tried Asian cuisine Korean food with two other couples and ate at the Korean House in Del City OK. While it was not my personal favorite I did find foods that I liked. We ordered several dishes and then shared. We had small plates to place our food on and passed the serving dishes. It was a great experience shared with friends. One of our friends ate here and said it was the best Korean food he had in 10 years. It was very good but I am not qualified to judge the food against other restaurants. The atmosphere is casual, the facility neat and clean, and the staff were friendly. Parking is available in the front and rear of the building. I think you will enjoy your food and dining experience here! $$
