Usually very entertaining but our chef was fairly quiet. Sunday evening so there wasn't much of a wait.

The hibachi chef we had this time had new culinary tricks and the food has always been good. Sitting at the hibachi grill is always fun.

Happy accident of finding this place. The food was very nice. I understand it is the luck of the draw who cooks the hibachi but our chef was wonderful. Not gimmicky but skilled. My steak was perfect medium rare. And he gave attention to detail to serve the ladies at the table before the men.
I wouldn't say it was a fancy place aesthetically it became very loud quickly

Sushi is awesome. I ordered the double dynamite roll and it was perfect. Staff was very friendly. Atmosphere was ok but I was there when they opened so it was not busy. Just felt empty.

We went here for a birthday party of 7. None of us are Japanese Cuisine experts but we enjoyed it. It was an experience for the kids because of the sharp things clattering and the SWOOSH of fire. That alone made it worth it.

Food was great. Hibachi was delicious and the demonstration was entertaining. The sushi was tasty with a large enough variety, and udon was good as well. The waitress was attentive and only somewhat helpful, seemed a bit overwhelmed even though it wasn’t very busy.
However, the bussers kind of made things awkward with how much they were circling/hovering to remove unwanted items from the table. All in all, the food was as advertised, but the overall environment/Experience could definitely be improved.

Food was 10/10!! Fried rice was perfect & the sushi roll absolutely amazing! The chef was also amusing which made the experience awesome. Customer service also 10/10! Our waiter was always bringing drinks & even made us a place to set our baby, in her cart seat! We LOVE! The best hibachi I have tried so far!

Showed up last minute. Was sat, not rushed, and the Chef handled our last minute perfect. He still put on a show, and made it look easy, which kept things smooth. As the food was plated, my man even gave a brief description of what was being placed in front of us. The food was on point and service second to none.

Beautifully decorated, lots of seating both for hibachi and sushi. But don't be fooled, Shiki on N May and the Shiki on W Reno might look like the same restaurant, it might have the same menu and exactly the same branding BUT as the manager very frankly explained to us, they are not the same company. Definitely preferred our Shiki on N May as the service is better and staff are much friendlier.

I asked them to surprise me with their three most favorite sushi rolls, and I was definitely surprised, well displayed food looked and tasted really good.
