The Blackstone Meatball

Truly devastated that they’ve added fried shrimp to the menu. This has been my favorite restaurant for years, and I’d eat here often. Recently they added fried shrimp which had limited my choices, including some of my favorites. So unfortunately I don’t eat here as often anymore. HOWEVER, this is a fantastic restaurant and I can’t dock them points because of a problem that is my own. If you don’t have a shellfish allergy, enjoy the fried goodies for me. And if you do, then you can still enjoy the best meatball sub you’ll ever have. For now I’ll just keep secretly hoping that the shrimp isn’t a popular choice so they eventually take it off the menu.

Food was filling but pricey. Average price per plate is 17.00. Small parking lot!!! They do have kids meals and desserts. We got the spaghetti with meatballs, rigatoni, garlic bread and fried cookie dough ice cream plus one coke. It was 74.00. It would be a great date night dinner. They have a patio.

Stopped for a quick lunch, the food and service was good, cool little location. Felt sorry for all the cooks having to keep walking through the front to get to the walk-in cooler but I guess that comes with being in an old building in the downtown area I'm guessing. Anywho, definitely worth a stop if you are craving some meatballs.

I tried the meatball sampler platter, an excellent choice as I got to try 5 sauces and 5 types of meatballs! The veggie ball with basil pesto was my favorite, the standard beef and marinara being a close second. I also got pineapple upside down bread pudding, delicious but also an absolute brick of a dessert in the stomach 😆 sharing it might be wise.

I had an amazing experience @ Blackstone meatball. Their vegetarian options were amazing and their cocktails were phenomenal. The server was friendly, attentive, and mindful. My boyfriend got the bacon wrapped meatloaf and loved it!! I got the veggie meatball with risotto and pesto- it was delicious! Overall, I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for yummy, savory, filling food.

The baked pasta was out of this world (no photo because we ate it so fast). The kids grilled cheese was also one of the best grilles cheese I have tried anywhere. We went with the sampler platter with all 5 meatballs (can't go wrong with this if you want to try everything on the menu). This place atmosphere is that of a big city. I must try for everyone.

We were in Omaha for vacation. The food was excellent and the portions were generous. Thea, our server, was exceptionally helpful and gracious. She gave us some sightseeing suggestions that we ended up loving. We sat on the balcony and enjoyed watching all the activity. If you’re in Omaha, Blackstone Meatball should be on your list.

So, my family and I went to the Blackstone Meatball for my brother’s birthday a couple months back. The staff was extremely polite and consistently checked up on us to see how we were. Not only was the decor superb, but the food was as well. My favorite part of the meal was their fried cookie dough. Would definitely go again!
