Angus Burgers & Shakes

My family and I tried Angus Burgers and Shakes on a Thursday around 5:00. It wasn't busy and we were seated right away. Our server was phenomenal. He brought our water and the kids' milk very quickly. I ordered the crab rangoon burger with fries. It sounded like something completely out there so why not? My husband ordered the three little pigs burger (no cream cheese) with sweet potato tots. One child ordered chicken strips and fries and the other a plain cheeseburger and fries. All of our meals arrived as ordered. My burger was awesome. I loved the whole thing. I never would have thought crab and cheeseburger, but yummy! Furthermore, this place now officially has my favorite fries--flavorful and delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meals except my toddler. He didn't care for his burger, but I tried it and it was good. You never know what a toddler is going to like from day today. I have never understood my husband's enjoyment of sweet potato anything until I tried their tots. Absolute crispy deliciousness! I am understanding his enjoyment now! We're the difficult people who order shakes as dessert after the meal (our kids are not going to eat anything but ice cream otherwise). Our server handled this well and continued to refill waters and check in on us. We ordered the monster cookie dessert to split and it was huge and appropriate to share. It comes with a piece of cheesecake and a cookie. The cookie was burned so that was disappointing (but the only disappointment of the night). My husband and I definitely will be back!

Went with the family for the first time and oh my goodness. The types of burgers they have are definitely fun. Example: an Uncrustable burger where they use Uncrustables as the buns (we didn't get that though, just thought it was interesting). Our waitress/server was super nice, it was just a really good time. I got the Walking Taco Burger - it was delicious and a bit messy. I also got a Brownie shake to go. My husband got the Jalapeño Popper Burger with loaded fries and a Whopper Malts Shake. He said it was so good he couldn't stop eating them even after he was full. My child got corn dogs, fries, and a chocolate shake. All stuff he enjoys.

Burgers are always delicious! This time I ordered their salmon Burger but it was a tad bit dry. My husband ordered one of their burgers and he loved it. It wasn't busy the day we stopped by and we noticed that the outdoor tables had not been cleaned. Their bathrooms are beautiful as you can see by the pictures.

Absolutely delicious! I ordered the jalapeno popper burger and loved it! The waffle fries were wonderfully crunchy. Everyone else loved their food as well. The milk shakes are also delicious. My son is gluten free and was able to get a burger he loved. The one he ordered came with onion straws and we missed that they weren't GF but the waitress, Lauren, caught it and had them skipped for him so he didn't get sick.

Went to lunch with a couple of picky eaters, the waitress handled their custom orders very well. The waitress was super nice and helpful. (Brook?)The burgers were very flavorful and wonderfully messy. There are some original burger choices that I will have to come back and try. The milkshakes were very good, although it took a little extra time to get them. The main entrees came out quickly. Sign on the door says they are short staffed but they did well. I will be coming back with my family next time.

Returned after covid19 One thing I really liked was that they opened up a large window/like a garage door? So there was a lot more fresh air coming in. Their patio does not have shade but if you sit inside near the patio door it's pretty much the same. Pro tip: order the waffle fries if you are getting the truffled fries. It holds the parmesan and truffle oil really well. 5 🌟 but we felt the serving was a bit small. Would like a larger option for sharing. Also when I ordered the iced tea ($2.50) I asked to add the fruit flavoring. Do the peach. 🍑 this iced tea is 👍. 5 🌟 Quality was great for everything we ordered. Sweet potato tots is an interesting take. My friend did not like the maple butter with it but me and my other friend wanted to take it home and add it to pancakes. The sauce on the salmon burger was phenomenal. The kind that makes me crave. 5 🌟 Their toasted marshmallow milkshake($6) was very tasty as well. Service also deserves a 5 🌟. My friend ordered a hellfire burger and was suggested to get the hot sauce on the side. We did this and he did agree it was a good recommendation. She didn't give her name but the bill said Mattie. I was not hungry when I went but I still ate a bunch of everything because it was good. Very happy to return if im in the area. ---- previous review---- Great place to grab a burger with amazing customer service. I went in today with high expectations due to a friend's review. They did not disappoint. The burgers aren't cheap. It comes a la carte. The flavor combination was very good. It was a nuanced burger (I did the blue cheese and I enjoyed the lingonberry jam). The truffle fries were good, though stronger on the parmesan. My preference would have been for slightly more truffle, but I understand that's not everyone's tastes. We had an incident that ended up with management intervention, not that we asked for it. They went above and beyond to clear up the issue as soon as we informed the server. She got her management involved to solve it asap. Parking is plentiful.

Great place with a new experience with burgers and shakes! The great fries must be noted as well! My waitress was wonderful! Kids eat FREE on Tuesdays! We got the onion caramelized burger. A Coffee n doughnut shake ( sooo good!) and mini corn dogs for the baby. Great atmosphere with beautiful lights definitely will be going back to this one!

Great experience. Burgers just melted in our mouth. We had the Reuben burger. Friendly staff and environment. Amazing alcoholic shakes to, I wish there was more choices to choose from. Food was served very fast, hardly any wait time. Presentation was amazing. Also had the burnt ends appetizer. The fries, coleslaw, BBQ sauce was great. I would just recommend serving that by itself without the burnt ends. The burnt ends were as tender as I hoped for. My recommendation is to use higher quality burnt ends. Prices were straight arcoss the board, you don't see that very often. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone. We will definitely be back.

Great burger joint in gretna. Very nice open restaurant with great decor. Lots of craft beer choices for all tastes. The burgers were great, the angry cow lived up to it's angry "hot" reputation. They offer homemade ketchup and mustard, was not my favorite homemade sauces. The ketchup was a little too thin and vinegary for me and the mustard appears to be yellow mustard with mustard seeds in them. The house fries were also not my favorite, too soggy and under seasoned. The burgers are what you come for and I will be back. Next time I will try the waffle fries as the side. Everyone with my party thought these were the best burgers we had. Plus they offer kids eat free on Tuesdays. Will definitely be back for more.
