Donahoo's Golden Chicken

Our first time! I would recommend calling ahead to place your order. We just went on a whim but didn’t have any time constraints so we waited. The chicken was good! Everything is made fresh and it’s just good ole fried chicken! Can’t wait to try the chicken strips! The parking lot is small and the drive aisle is really narrow.

I grew up in the area and have had Donahoos a few times over those years, but it’s been a long while. I recently told my son I wanted him to try it, just because it’s one of those local places you have to try. I knew there was a wait (because everything is made fresh to order) but I wanted to go in and check out the menu and I dont live far, so it was fine. We placed our order and figured that would be that, but in the short time we waited for our food, I felt like we had become family. This place has phenomenal warm and welcoming customer service and I had definitely not expected that. This was one of those places we would have gotten food from every few years before but I’m looking forward to this becoming a regular place for me and my family- because they are awesome.
