Denny's

Ok..... I'm sure everyone has been to Denny's at some point or another. I never imagined I'd be leaving a review for them. Today blew me away. I'll start by saying I've never ordered a steak at a Denny's, IHOP or any other cafe. There was an advertisement on the window for petite sirloin, eggs and hash browns for $8.99. On a whim, I ordered it. Asked for my steak medium and my hash browns extra crispy with scrambled eggs, add cheddar. I got the juciest, most tender, perfectly seasoned sirloin! I was seriously beside myself. It cut like butter!! I thought for sure I'd get shoe leather or something that tasted dead considering the sweet waitress brought out A-1 sauce before my food came out, lol. If you need that, your steak wasn't cooked properly! Anywho, I didn't get a picture of my meal. I pulled this from Google. But, for $8.99 this was phenomenal and I was full! 👍👍

It was mother's Day so we expected to wait for a very long time, but as to much our surprise, we were seated immediately. It was crowded so we knew it would be longer for the food. It was not as long as I expected and it was good size portions (almost too much) but not wasteful. We tried the platter with vegetables and sausage and the double stack burger. Everyone there was nice. The food had good taste although the sausage made the vegetables a bit more saltier than I like. Overall, it was a good experience for the time of day we visited.

My waitress is amazing! She’s vocal with the cook staff (of course respectful) to make sure her order is accurate. The food was good. The Oreo shake was good. My waitress Cheyenne is cute. Trying to work up the courage to ask for her number but I’ll probably won’t ask. She’s working and I wouldn’t want her to get in trouble. The only thing I’d take issue with is the fact that Cheyenne added an additional ‘fried chicken breast’ to my sandwich and I didn’t ask for that. Too much chicken. Made the sandwich kind of not great. The restaurant is clean and they’re several sanitation stations that I can see. Two at the entrance and one I see at the walkway of the restrooms. The music they play is at a great volume. Not loud but certainly can be heard. The dining area has no unpleasant smells and the counters where the waiting staff works is orderly (that’s a plus). The cleaning staff is also good. The floors are clean. There is no clutter anywhere I can see. The men’s restroom is very clean. No unpleasant smells and well stocked with soap, sanitizer, toilet paper and paper towels. They even have stocked the sanitary paper seat covers. Most bathrooms I have gone in to review never have those sanitary paper toilet seat covers. Therefore, it is my well observed opinion that this Denny’s is well managed and well staffed. Kudos! What a great Denny’s restaurant.

We had a good experience overall. The food was pretty good and there was a lot of it. I don't go to Dennya often and the prices aren't what I remember... definitely more expensive, but like I said you do get a decent portion. We did have to wait a long time to be seated. We were a party of 6 and they don't have space to accommodate more then 2 big parties, at a time, like that. The server was excellent, very friendly and attentive!!
