Uncle Julio's Fine Mexican Food

Such a wonderful restaurant! Great food and the best drinks around, I love their house margaritas! Portion sizes are great, I like that I eat enough to feel full without having heaps of leftovers to take home. The quality of food (even during Covid) hasn’t dropped- I dare say it’s gotten better. Base food options are delicious and I have the option for upgrades (filet Mignon for base steak) should I feel extra fancy. Atmosphere is beyond 5 stars- beautiful setting for a great evening! My favorite Mexican restaurant in the area by far!

The service was great. I ordered the steak fajita bowl, it was nasty, I added extra steak thinking it would taste better; that didn't help at all. My son had the taco, he says they were delicious and my brother had the steak fajita for two, he says they were good except his tortillas were cold. He sent them back by the waiteress. Our guacamole was fresh and tasty. The manager was very professional and offered me more food. I deçlined and she took my meal off. It wasn't like my past visits to the other locations. My brother enjoyed the swirl drinks for his birthday.

We were serviced very quickly. I ordered the diced chicken tacos and my friend had the enchiladas both items were very bland I’m pretty sure the chicken was not seasoned. However bacon wrapped shrimp was delicious!!! The bacon was cooked perfectly around the shrimp, both flavors delicious! Our server was Madison she was cool, she remembered our order, was quick, and she’s an excellent upseller I ended up taking four more shrimp home. Overall my experience was just cool nothing really wowed me.

The place was nice. The service and servers were good. But it seems like everything that you order comes in soup form. Beans=soup Cheese dip= more like a cheese soup And for a Mexican restaurant I expect the food to have flavor and not be so bland. Over priced food! Not worth it. Go somewhere else. Anywhere else but here.
