Sula Wok

I stumbled upon Sula Wok on my way to NuGrocery on a Saturday morning. I had passed it a few times before, and I was always intrigued. I was delighted after speaking to the owner to discover that they had 4 vegan options for tacos. I decided to go with the sweet potato, knowing that I would have plenty of time to try all the different flavours. I sat on the bench and Waited for a few minutes. By the time my tacos arrived, I was blown away. These were some of the best tacos I have ever eaten. It is a bit far from my house in Centretown, but now that I have a bicycle, I will definitely be back.

Outstanding takeaway! Delicious, colourful and definitely above average. Ordered ahead of time and my order was ready and waiting when I arrived. They didn't prepare it too far in advance as it was still piping hot when we got back to our hotel. So impressed. Great prices and quality. The owners were super friendly and seem to be quite well known by locals. If I lived here I would definitely get to know them very well. Keep up the great job Sula and Andrew!

Extremely fresh, delicious, nutritious, flavourful food! We have been ordering takeout regularly since we discovered Sula Wok during the pandemic. The food is outstanding! Taco Tuesdays involve a small discount, which is exciting. The tofu has a great texture and taste. Try the tofu tacos, samosas dumplings and pad Thai!

Really appreciated the flavours and freshness of the variety of dishes we ordered. The dumplings were made fresh, punchy ginger and other ingredients.. tried the curried beef tacos, and they were SUBSTANTIAL... Not little petite tacos like you'll find elsewhere, this was a very decent sized portion. Spring rolls were freshly made, and certainly appreciated the effort that goes into prep.. really nice place, and happy to recommend

Just a quick update in 2022. Food is still amazing, and as such they are very popular. Make sure to order ahead!! This place is amazing! Their tacos are out of this world, and by having meat, vegan and gluten-free options almost everyone can be accommodated. Their dumplings are so flavourful and I wish I could buy a bottle of the peanut sauce that came with it for home. The restaurant is owned and run by a husband and wife, the latter originating from Tibet, and the atmosphere reflects it. Come in the summer to enjoy the patio and tasty food! (But honestly come all the time)

Ordered takeout to try out this place with all the good reviews. Honestly, I was personally disappointed. The food came well packed and looked okay with the different mix of veggies, however the taste is strange with so many fusion mixes of vegetables. I've had many pad thai dishes from different places and the pad thai sauce here is not so good with the odd mix of ginger in the veggies in it is weird. I couldn't even finish the pad thai, it's just not good. Nothing too special about this place.

Cute family owned restaurant offering healthy Asian cuisine. Great selection of Asian cuisine made with fresh ingredients. Everything we ordered was so yummy. A group favourite was their Guilin noodles. Love how flavourful everything is here. Sula and her husband are the sweetest people ever too. Always a great experience with this place! Highly recommend.
