It's a nice brunch place on Sunday! I found their food slightly saltier than my liking. A lot of happy hour options for those who drink.
I'd recommend to try their donuts to share your friends! So warm and fluffy 💕

3 orders of fish tacos. Pretty good but didn’t think it was amazing like everyone said. Felt like it was missing flavour. The fries are really good.

It’s rare that one person can transform a dining experience. When I walked into Local to discuss sales strategies with my associate, I did not think I would leave saying “I have never received such service in my entire life.” Emily had helpful recommendations for drinks and dining, was attentive in service, and entertaining in anecdotes. While the food was fresh and delicious and the cocktails were well crafted, it was Emily who made the whole evening a delight. Five stars for Local, and five stars for Emily. Thank you.

This place got some vibe, visited here on Saturday past midnight, we had fun. Food is really good and so is our time spent. Service is good, parking is free on Saturday midnights

Pleasantly surprise with quality of food and selections
This restaurant is located in the heart of Landsdowne Park, right next to the Aberdeen Pavilion. Large patio and a huge bar, it’s almost always bustling with tourists and locals.
Food and drink selections are abundant, good selections of beer on tap. And to my surprise the fish taco was excellent, soft taco shell and crunchy fried fish fillet topped with fresh salsa and diced cabbage, it was delicious! I did not expect this level of quality in a bar.
Staff was attentive and helpful, very pleasant to deal with.
Definitely a recommend!
[Update Jul-5-2021]: Upgrading to 5 star now. Management reached out to me. This showed a dedication for excellence. Bravo! You definitely earned my respect and loyalty!

Visited Local at Lansdowne on a busy Sunday afternoon yesterday for the first time. The place was bustling which got our hopes up for the food. My husband ordered the veggie tacos with mushrooms instead of beef. Within couple minutes we were told that they were out of mushrooms so he agreed to sub for avocado. The tacos tasted fine. I ordered the Eggs Benedict with avocado and potatoes. Even after specifically requesting for hard poached eggs, what I got was eggs with runny yolks. Sent it back and waited for another 15mins for the correct order. The server said she'd get the crispy potatoes but never showed. The food tasted ok and they didn't charge us for the messed up order. Not sure I'd go back.

We tried this restaurant for the first time and we enjoyed it. The atmosphere was definitely chill. Quality of food was good for the price. I had the steak and fries and it was fairly good. Nice place to go and have a drink and good food with friends.

Service could be better.
Also wish they had more vegan options, there is a veggie burger on the menu which tastes great, but that’s pretty much the only vegan option they offer currently.
