Lets start with the good things… the place is sooo beautiful and the teas taste fairly good. I’d give 4/5 for that. However: I ordered a lava cake which it was frozen when was brought to my table (photos available) it’s literally called LAVA cake it’s suppose to be heated with melted runny chocolate batter! So I sent it back and it took them a good 40 min to bring it back to me. (They forgot about it and I reminded them that I had a cake…) they brought me a new cake which I’m thankful for that but the cake tasted old and stale… I ordered a pesto crepe and they took 50 min to bring it the quality was average but not bad at all. Again, they forgot about my crepe as well… I don’t really know that they are actually doing it on purpose or just can’t remember things :( I ordered a peanut butter cup which was a 5/5. The service is really weak, there is literally no staff checking on the customers that are dining in. All in all, super beautiful place, really bad service and average food.

What a gem 💎 of a spot this is. Many times I've been to this strip Mall and thought it was just coffee ☕ and baked goods. 🧐 Boy was I wrong!!! They have a large eat in dining room that is beautifully 🕰 🎭 designed and decorated. It takes you to Paris, to a quaint little Cafe. The crepes were perfectly 👌 done, strawberries and bananas 🍌 I met a friend here for brunch and we chatted for 2 hours. We also let with amazing pastries 🥐 and sweets. Great service. We will definately be back!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Amazing Jem in Barrhaven. The staff were courteous and patient with me as I tried to decide to what to order. After all it was my first visit and it was a surprise find. I ordered a latte with a double shot and the Ultimate French Toast Crepe. The coffee was smooth but strong, just what I wanted. The barista was very artistic with the top of my coffee and the chef made an excellent crepe. It was filled to overflowing with banana and strawberries. It had just the correct amount of icing sugar and maple syrup. The the crepes themselves were nothing like I’ve had before. The thin layer of egg between the crepe layers gave them a surprise texture and flavour. It was excellent, I wouldn’t change a thing.
