Mia's Indian Cuisine

The food is absolutely delicious and the portions are really good! We always come back at this restaurant as it's one of our favorite place, but price wise it's definitely a preferable experience to order for lunch than for dinner! There are a lot of vegetarian options, which is great! We'll be back for more delicious lunches for sure!

Tried Mia's for the first time yesterday. Food was delicious, and the meat dishes had the most amount of meat I have ever gotten in an Indian restaurant. The butter chicken was full of large pieces of chicken, and the beef was plentiful as well. The vegetarian dishes - daal, paneer, mixed veg were all very flavourful. I am Indian so very picky with Indian food - Mia's is definitely worth trying, I will be going back for takeout again for sure.

Had some butter chicken, chicken korma, rice and garlic naan for dinner. The naan was very delicious, and so was the chicken korma. The butter chicken was okay, but not as expected. Found it was kind of bland and lacked that rich flavour I’m used to with butter chicken. Overall great customer service for a pick up order, the gentleman at the front end was very friendly

I had hopes for this restaurant and was sadly let down. I usually don't complain about food but this was some of the worst Indian food I've ever had. My shrimp was so tough that it just turned into a chewy ball of shrimp in my mouth. 18.95 for 6 pieces of shrimp that very very very overcooked. My husband order the butter chicken. It was meh. Not terrible like my shrimp. Just meh. Service was also meh. I would 100% suggest somewhere else. This is just my opinion. But if you love food and don't want to spend alot...DONT GO HERE

Two things. First the food was OK, but the Tikka sandwich is not as good as it was about 5 years ago. Also after using the credit card here, and ONLY here during the power outage in Ottawa, I had a coincidental same day charge of $170.14 to CHCCONLINE.CA, which is "Canadian Hindu Chamber of Commerce". I do not financially support any organization like this. I didn't request this charge and apparently it is an annual recurring charge. Mia's was of no help when questioned about this, and subsequently I had to assume my card was compromised and is now being replaced. To quote Bill Maher " I don't know it for a fact, I just know that it's true".. somehow there's a scam afoot here.
