Authentic Vietnamese Pho House

The portions were huge, I got a medium and it’s the size of a large at other restaurants. The Pho soup tastes like all the other decent Viet restaurants but they are pretty generous with the toppings. The Bun Bo Hue tastes pretty authentic but the oxtail as too inconsistent, 1 bowl had fall off the bone meat and other bowls had impossibly chewy meat. The server was incredibly nice even though she almost spilled the boiling soup on us, it was her first day on the job so we looked past it. For such a small restaurant, it was incredibly busy, and now I see why, i enjoyed it here and would recommend it.

My first time having Authentic (takeout) after always going to Chinatown area for pho and it was on par if not better! The bun hue was flavourful and the pho soup was one of the tastiest I’ve had. Their beef carpaccio appetizer is unique and a perfect combo with the fresh herbs (beware the spice of the hot peppers)!

Took my wife here for lunch. A small restaurant but it was clean and inviting. The waitress was extremely friendly. We ordered fresh shrimp spring rolls for app. It came with a peanut sauce. The rolls was ok. Not enough herb and shrimps. I ordered a bun bo hue, and my wife ordered a vermicelli with aaa rib eye steak slices and spring roll. Let me say my soup was amazing. Lots of assorted meat, great broth seasoning, very spicy and came with assorted herbs ans bean sprouts. I've eaten a lot of bun bo hue in Ottawa and this has to be my top 2. My wife rib eye meat slices were so flavourful and tasty. We live in the east end of Ottawa and definitely will come back.

It was my first time getting Vietnamese food and this place was recommended by a friend. i’m glad i went with this restaurant. I’m West African so i’m particular about how meat is seasoned and it was surprising how well seasoned this food was especially the meats. I’m not sure if it’s owned by one person or it is a small franchise as i have ordered from the both Kanata and today from the Greenbank location. The service was fast, taste was exactly the same and the cashier lady was nice. By the way i got the Beef, pork and chicken vermicelli noodle bowl from both locations. A happy customer and a returning one at that.

Do you believe in love at first bite? I didn’t until I tried this place! It’s amazing! So much texture and flavour in their dishes! I blew away my savings cause who wouldn’t when they have experienced such delicious food. The staff is super friendly and polite. They are always ready to help you and provide you the best service. IT IS ALSO VEGAN/VEGETARIAN FRIENDLY!!!! I highly recommend this place!
