One on the best bakeries in the National Capital Region, hands down ! Fresh products, great variety, generous portions. The ice cream truck is a true gem and a must during summer. Their lattes (especially the matcha latte and honey lavender latte) are excellent. The service is friendly, professional and makes the customers feel welcome.

This coffee shop is by far the highest quality in drinks, coffee, and treats. However, the service is always terrible and always has been. The staff are not friendly or helpful and orders are sometimes wrong but it is not a comfortable enough environment to ask for it to be fixed. I keep coming back for the quality but I feel like the service should be improved to match the quality of the items they sell.

I was a first time customer. My wife and I just moved to the area and were excited to have this coffee shop within walking distance from our house. We loved the Red door's instagram and their focus on locally sourced products. However, when we actually went to the shop we were not greeted warmly. We were told to wait outside due to limit restrictions. This makes sense and we understand that safety is a priority, but it was said coldly, and aggressively. When it came time for us to order we had nothing explained to us and we ended up with a pastry that was not fresh and a cold cheese puff. We had assumed that it was heated but when we received it it was not. The coffee was not bad, but with the rude customer service, the mediocre pastry, and cold sandwich, unfortunately I can't recommend going here.

Red Door Provisions is an unmatched gem in Ottawa. Calling it a coffee shop alone is a major disservice because it is so much more! Wine, beer, baked goods, dinners to go… they do it all and they do it to incredibly high standards! Add to that a selection of the best damn coffee in the city… you can’t go wrong here. Also, they have incredible safety measures in place, which are so appreciated especially when bringing unvaccinated little ones!
