Wow, what a sandwich! The prosciutto and provolone was spectacular and made for a delightfully delicious sandwich. Genio the chef and owner is a great host too.

Can’t believe I’ve never been here before. Super old school vibe. Owner served me an amazing porchetta sandwich along with his home made hot sauce. Can’t wait to come back!

Had the wonderful opportunity to eat at Sanguiccio Deli Cafe and meet the owner/chef Genio. A wonderful man truly passionate about making delicious authentic food. The bread was made from scratch along with the sauce and everything else. The shop is filled with freshly made tomato sauces which attests to the home made authenticity of Genio’s sandwiches. I ordered the Chicken Butter Brandy sandwich which was delightful treat of flavours. Will definitely be coming back here again!

Instead of a picture of the food I decided to take a picture of the kitchen because it speaks for itself, although its blurry unfortunately. I won't pretend like this place wraps it's food in gold foil, but for $8 a sandwich, you won't be finding a fraction of the quality or flavor at Subway. You get to watch a man from Italy making sandwiches in front of your eyes the way he ate them growing up using handmade ingredients. All at a very reasonable price. No processed mass produced garbage. Just genuine, authentic food

Easily one of the best sandwiches I've had since moving to Ottawa. Owner is incredibly friendly, everything is made fresh and he's got tons of options!
His Porchetta sandwich is out of this world delicious, If you haven't been before then you're seriously missing out.

This was my first visit to the deli and I was beyond impressed. The care that is taken in the food shows thru and the depth of flavor is incredible. The food was only out done by how hospitable the owner was!

Best sandwiches in the city. The beef arrosto will melt in your mouth. Order ahead if you're in a rush because these sandwiches are all made fresh to order with love and care by the owner. A must try.
