Pasticceria Gelateria Italiana Ltd

I was excited to try this shop but both my friend and I were pretty disappointed. We each got a dessert and Belgian hot chocolates. While the hot chocolates were tasty, the rests were below average for us. We both couldn’t finish the cakes. The birthday cake icing, the whipped cream on hot chocolate, and the mousse covered ganache tasted a bit cheap quality. They weren’t deep and rich in their taste and quality, but left a cheap taste on tongue. The staffs were friendly.

A nice Italian gelato and pastry shop with a wide variety of items. All of the items we had were good, nothing being amazing or terrible. Order: Baba Cream ($6.45 each) x1 - Fried donut, soaked in sugary syrup filled with pastry cream - Overly sweet One Scoop Kinder Bueno Gelato ($6.95 each) x1 - Sweet chocolate gelato with ground up bits of a Kinder Bueno bar in it - Prominently a chocolate gelato - The Kinder Bueno did not really come through Medium Cappuccino ($6.25 each) x1 - Clean tasting coffee with a slight burnt finish - Not very acidic - Standard foam, no latte art - Fairly expensive for a cappuccino Florentine Cookie ($3.95 each) x1 - Average Florentine cookie - Would have been better if it was freshly baked, since it would be chewier - Caramel felt a bit thick Smartie Chocolate Bar ($8.25 each) x1 - Great quality milk chocolate - Was a bit on the sweet end - The Smarties gave the bar added texture Red Velvet Brigadeiros ($2.45 each) x1 - Tasted like a red velvet cake pop - Very moist Nutella Brigadeiros ($2.45 each) x1 - Tasted like a very rich chocolate cake pop - Slight nuttiness - Very moist Atmosphere and Site: - A few indoor and outdoor tables - Cozy interior Service: - The baked goods came out quickly - The gelato and cappuccino came out separately a minute or so after we got the baked goods

Not the best experience. I got this alcohol pastry with a type of yellow icing filling with a candied cherry I think on top. While the pastry was good, I lost my appetite when I found it had 6 little eyelashes inside and around the pastry surface... I think someone's false eyelashes may have fallen into the icing or batter. I came around an hour before closing and the service when I visited wasn't very welcoming or friendly. Overall, not the best experience and hope they can improve the quality checking to ensure there's no contaminants in their pastry.
