House Of Targ

This place was so cool!!!! I've never been to anything like it. There were multiple pinball games as well as many other video game/arcade game setups. There was a flat fee of 10$ and then unlimited play on all games. We also ordered the sweet perogies to share. It was apple and cinnamon tasting and very delicious! This was a great way to end our evening and I can't wait to show this place to my fiance who is a big gamer and totally into all these games.

House of Targ is an awesome place to hang out, unwind or even as a date spot. With a great selection of food, games and drinks how could you go wrong? Service was good and almost every game was working. Hand sanitizer was abundantly available. Would definitely come back someday when we're back in Ottawa.

Most of the machines are at 1$/credit. Just a few left at 25¢/credit. They changed up a few machines since the pandemic. I could only see one of the cocktail arcade and of course there was people sitting at it with their drinks and not actually playing the game... Staff is cool, shows are mixed at a reasonable level, not like when it first opened. Bathroom are super clean.

For the first time in the several times I have been to TARG, there was a minor issue with our order. However, it was corrected very seriously by the staff and they took excellent care of us. Great people, great venue, arguably one of the coolest things about Ottawa. Even several years deep (we hadn’t been in a few years, we’re out of town) this place rocks. My wife *was* very disappointed that the Street Fighter arcade cabinet was gone, but all these things have their reasons.

Phenomenal perogies. They are some of the best I've had since I was last in Ukraine. The dough is perfect and the fillings are delicious. Definitely handmade with care. The owner is friendly, and the atmosphere of the arcade is amazing. This is the first, but won't be the last time I eat here. Thanks Targ!
