Shawarma Palace

Photos updated. There is a reason why over one thousand Googlers rated this restaurant four plus stars. Each humongous portion of foods is served by friendly staffs, and each is full of taste and freshness. I’m craving foods served by this restaurant even right after I finish my take-aways with lots of leftovers!

After many years and several visits, this is still the best shawarma in Ottawa, and probably the entire province. Don't bother with the wraps, this is the place you go to for platters. It doesn't matter if you want chicken, or beef or both, you will be blown away by the platter. Whether you dine-in or take-out, the platter comes absolutely loaded with meat, potatoes, rice, salad, hummus, and garlic sauce. The taste is out of this world, with the garlic sauce being the standout of the platter. The beef is also solid, which tends to be a weakness of many shawarma places. The platter will last you two meals at minimum, and probably three. This place is reason enough to make the drive to Ottawa, wherever you're coming from. If you go during lunchtime, expect a long line, but if you go at non-peak times, you should be good to go. Check out @foodpharaoh on Instagram for more food!

Without a doubt best shawarma I’ve ever had. Huge plates and great taste. The quality is incomparable to other places in Ottawa and any else in Ontario. The beef tongue is my favourite personally but the chicken shawarma poutine and the plates are amazing. Great service and quick. Lots of seating and good parking. It’s clean and my go to whenever I’m in town.

Food - 4/5 Ambiance - 4/5 Service - 4/5 Price - Expensive Ordered chicken kabab platter, chicken shawarma, and a beef shawarma. First thing the platter size is huge. Their garlic sauce is one of the best I've had from all the shawarma places. With the platter you get 2 naan, which is good enough for 2 people. Good thing, it's open until late. If you're hungry and if you are looking for tasty food, shawarma palace is your savior.

We went to this restaurant after checking google ratings but it is not worth. It is quite expensive Spent 50$ for 2 person. Chicken plate and vegetarian dish. They overcrowded plate with Veggies garlic sauce turnip and pickles so it looks big. Chicken was dried and too oily. It looks like they use peanut oil. Potatoes and chicken was dry and seemed like just dipped into oil very unhealthy. Need to improve quality
