Food was good. Had the black bean veggie burger and a Caesar salad. Wasn’t amazing but was good enough for a late night bite. Service was terribly slow but the server said it was her first day and it was quite busy so that’s totally understandable. Management should have been more involved in assisting the server as she was also bartending and running food and I could clearly see she was overwhelmed as she was still learning. Besides this, the experience was good, food was decent and the restaurant had a nice and relaxing ambience

As a former waitress I never leave bad reviews for restaurants unless a meal was really particularly awful. this was the worst meal I have had in recent memory. It took about an hour to get our food. My mom ordered what was advertised as chicken breast, but got a small chicken thigh instead, with a couple potatoes, sauce that was pretty much 100% sodium, and a few sad carrots. As for me, I ordered "mac and cheese" (a dish that is hard to mess up). What i got was basically macaroni drowned in heavy cream (no actual sauce to speak of) with melted grated cheese on top. Barely edible. To top it all off, the food was very expensive (27$ for the chicken and 20$ for the mac and cheese). Avoid at all costs.

Maybe I choose the wrong item but I ordered The Rox steak dish and the steak was terrible... I asked for medium rare and it was more medium well with the outside of the steak being well. But even if the temperature was correct the quality of the meat was tough, so dry and lacked flavor. For $29 I would have gotten a better steak at The Keg for less. Giving it 3 stars because the staff was nice and food did come out fairly quick. It was all just OK.

I went there with several people for an organized event. The "chef" called in sick so there we were told initially that there was NO FOOD. Then suddenly, the "backup chef" arrived and there was food again. What kind of way to run a business is this? I ordered a burger / salad and my friends a charcuterie plate. It took 1 hour 15 minutes to arrive.. The food was just ok. Also, we were never asked even once if we wanted a refill of water or another drink, nor were any of the patrons. We had to ask for our bill, The server could not find it initially. The staff came across as very inexperienced overall, and the service quite poor. The positive part seemed to be that management acknowledged the issues and provided a credible explanation and offered to make things right with sending a gift card, so that we can try the restaurant again.

We had a reception at the Phi Bistro and can't say enough about it. The venue was excellent, the staff were "bend over backwards" helpful and totally awesome! The food was upscale, well prepared and varied. They knew we love our cheeses and went out of their way to supply an eclectic selection. They even brought in our favorite sparkling. I would highly recommend this unpretentious gem!! two thumbs up!!!

Conveniently located between two large downtown hotels. Small food menu consists of bowls (salads), boards, and burgers, but offers something for everyone.
