Amazing pastries, atmosphere and service! You can tell that the owners really care about every detail of this business, from the cleanliness of the cafe to the beautiful and delicious pastries! This is the best cafe we have ever been to in Ottawa, and we will definitely be coming again soon! Thank you for such a wonderful treat :)!!

Always exceptional across all of their products. Prime example is their canneles--many fine shops make these really really well, but they're almost all disappointing compared to Macarons et Madeleines. Even with the great reviews I see for this place, it's clear they're under appreciated. Give it a few more years and this will be an Ottawa foodie landmark for pastries that is compared against global pastry landmarks. Also, try ordering a custom cake--I've ordered four in the last couple of years and the skill / quality is unbelievable.

Having lived and worked in France for 2 years, I am a bit particular about my croissants and patisseries. This is my favourite place to get them in Ottawa although I found the croissants cooked a shade more than I really like but they are done in the authentic French way that takes 3 days lol.. They macaroons are also very tasty with a changing selection and the tarts / cakes I tried were all very good. Quality ingredients made into quality products. Stephen and his wife Julie are great and I remember going when they were operating the store out of the ground floor of the house. Stephen is Le Cordon Bleu Ottawa trained and spent an year in Paris after and obviously picked up some skills there :D
