Shawarma Chef

Service was very, VERY friendly. But I will be sticking with Shawarma Palace. The FIRST time I walked in with my mom at 5pm, was told they were out of falafel? I’m a vegetarian, so, that was a no go for me. But the second time, I Ordered a falafel sandwich and garlic potatoes at lunch, they were mediocre at best. Sooo many reviews on the Orleans Foodie group about this place and I guess I just had bad luck? Sandwich was very soggy, pita was crusty, garlic potatoes were not fresh. Honestly I really wanted to love this place, And the people who worked there were great. But I won’t be back… sorry guys!

Best shawarma experience ever! My girlfriend and I were on a long drive home and decided to stop at Shawarma Chef because it has good ratings. Let me tell you the high ratings are totally accurate! The staff here are so welcoming and friendly, and in these stressful days it was a breath of fresh air. The food was so good! Toasty warm and everything was fresh. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience! We will be back again soon! God bless!

Maybe I went on an off day. It tasted like my food was made by 2 different restaurants. The tabouleh, garlic sauce, hummus were all great, seasoned well and tasty. The rice and chicken was terrible. The chicken tasted like grocery store roasted chicken and the rice tasted like instant rice. Very disappointing considering the reviews I read before.

I love the food here. The donair is delicious. The shawarma platter is also delicious. Potatoes always seasoned nicely, chicken tastes great, tabbouleh is seasoned and mixed well, so is the fattoush! I also find I can easily have leftovers for lunch if I get the large shawarma platter, and the price is great.
