Really nice restaurant in a cool area. We went on a Wednesday evening with no line-ups.. We ordered the chicken fajitas and the sweet and spicy Thai chicken. The fajitas were ok but the Thai chicken made my day! Out of this world good. I strongly recommend trying it. The server was on the ball regardless of the crowd.

Let quality local older pub style place and food. The hamburger was basically wet with grease, the bun was saturated and it poured fluid out the bottom so badly I had to revert to reading the Burger with a knife and fork. The wings were half price on Thursday, as they are at all Kelsey's as well. They were okay, but it would've been better driving a bit further to the Kelsey's. The service wasn't great. The server wasn't clear nor certain about items on the menu. After the food was served she never returned to ask how the food was i or if we needed more drinks. If you love next door, this is the place to go so you don't have to cook. If you are able to get around, you can find better places to go. I'd go again if not hungry, just to grab a pint on the way home.

We love this old "hole in the wall" neighbourhood pub. It's not even our neighbourhood! The food is good. large portions and consistent. The Owner is super friendly and appreciative and the staff of Lifers (that says something) always give great service. We'd much rather spend money local here than at some stupid sole-less American chain restaurant! Interesting Regulars too! Great large patio areas. Cool old Ottawa memorabilia stuff on the walls.

Hands down, this is our favorite restaurant. It has an eclectic menu some excellent dishes.Try The smokehouse burger, it's a bit messy but such a good burger. Fish and chips is as good as any other place in town if not better. And they have a normal selection of beer and a few things you should try that you won't find in other places. Staff is excellent, mature well trained, they listen they make good suggestions and they become friends.
