Bowman’s On Bank

Best burger on Bank Street. I had the basic burger and it was far from basic. The beef was so well flavoured and tender. Great avoli sauce and toppings. The atmosphere was warm and cozy. They have booths and long tables which is great for 8 people groups.they have a large beer selection and I ♥️ that they have French's ketchup!

Loved it! We went in for a birthday dinner and each of us enjoyed our meals. The menu offers a wide range of choices and each of our dishes were flavorful and filling. Drink menu ranges from local/craft beers, to cocktails, to the usuals (Canadian, Labatt...). The restaurant itself was beautifully decorated and has gorgeous paintings by local artists for sale. Board games are also available to use if you bring children or are looking for an activity during your meal. The staff was so friendly and fun to talk to - I would recommend this place to anyone!

This place has great food, good local beers, and a friendly staff. I had the burger of the day, which was no ordinary burger. Every ingredient was so tasty! My husband had the chicken and waffles, so many flavours that worked really well together. For dessert, we had the churros. Also, super good! They also have a nice patio, partial shade and partial sun. I would return here to try the other food items on their menu.

$5 off Burger plates on Wednesdays, we got the Bowman's beef burger with bacon onion jam and the daily special pork burger with pork belly both burgers were nice and filling. They make their own shoestring fries, but we both went for salad, I liked their house jalapeno dressing (it's sour, not spicy), but balsamic and other dressings are available as we'll

A very pleasant place to enjoy a meal with friends. The service is good. I had a Bowman Burger. Tasted great. My friend had the Fish Tacos. They looked impressive (see photo) and I'm told that they are best in Ottawa (but they are not MY cup of tea, so you'll have to take my friend's word for this). My wife had the Jambalaya. This also looked very impressive, but I forgot to take a picture (sorry). She also said it was great, and that she enjoyed it a lots

Went for a meal after the Santa Claus parade. Staff was attentive and accommodating even though we had two young kids in tow. Burger was great, as were the chicken strips. The staff went out of their way to make sure you felt welcomed and had everything you needed. Would recommend to anyone in the area. Noticed signage for 15$ beau's pitchers on certain nights, as well as a bunch of other specials, so check them out before you plan your visit.
