Had very delicious Indian from Aahar tonight! Best Alta Vista Indian takeout. Fresh ingredients, nice spices, great tastes, naan, paneer, chicken, lamb, excellent all-around and a good price. Thank you Aahar for keeping us fed in the lock-down! :)

To start with we went there one day and food was literally awesome.Bread were extremely soft and curries were super yummy..But then we decided to visit again for buffet and guess what we experienced very bad service and buffet food was completely different than the regular food ..pakoras were hard like rock, Raita was sour like tamarind, bread were very very thick, curries were fine but we waited for almost 30 mins as containers were empty and they didn't fill anything for 30-40 mins..We ate just fruits and salad to fill our stomach ..! Wasted our 50 dollars ..! Need more organisation..!

Good vegetarian and vegan Indian menu. Chole Bhature is fresh, fluffy are delicious. Masala chai is also good and they have good catering menu as well.

Really good Indian food. Fresh, tasty, nicely spiced with some heat in it but not so much as to overwhelm the flavours. We’re new to Ottawa so we’ve been trying a number of Indian places and this is our new favourite. The naan was really good.

Great food. Have had takeout several times and they deserve a much better rating on Google as the food is better than two other higher rated Indian places in town we've tried recently. Keep it up 🙏

Aahar is hands down the best Punjabi restaurant in town. They never let me down. Everything is freshly prepared and delicious. Just like home cooking, not to heavy, not too much masala, just down home goodness!

So cute, Super good pakora. We moved to the area a year or two ago but never had the chance to check it out until last week. Definitely our new favourite Indian food in Ottawa!

Have been here twice in the last three months. First time ordered food from the menu. Highly recommend their Dilrupa gravies and Kadai Paneer. The Naan, Stuffed Paratha, Roti & Mango Milk shakes were pretty good. On our second visit we tried their buffet and food was amazing. Totally loved all the items in the buffet. Do try it out.
