Share Plates N' Drinks

This bar was a lot better than I have expected. Like seriously. I went to Ottawa for a vacation. and my two aunts happened to be in Ottawa at the same time. And they wanted to go out to have a few drinks. So we were walking around in the Byward Market, and we stumbled upon this bar. We walked in, and the bartender gave us a nice table. And he was really respectful, which is nice to see. I liked his attitude too. He was pretty optimistic serving us. The food itself is amazing. The food turned out to be way better than I have expected it to be. The food was so good, I had to order seconds. My two aunts who were with me also enjoyed their meal. So it was a great experience. After that, I did up going there a few more times by myself, and it was great. That dude was awesome. There was this other bartender that served me as well. I can't remember her name but she was pretty nice too. but she was serious, and I dont think Ive seen her smile while I was there lol. I loved that other guy though. Wish more bartenders were like him. Anyways, good awesome staff. Amazing food. Awesome setting. I would have definitely recommended to come here if it werent for the fact this place is closed. Its a shame. I found this bar better than others in the Byward Market, and the food was amazing

Found the ambience perfect for date night. The food was exceptional with most likely the best presentation available in Ottawa without going to a luxury restaurant. In addition the service was both fast and efficient with our server being very attentive and amicable. I definitely would recommend, especially on a Monday with their 39 cent wing special

Absolutely the best food I ever had in my life. I paid 11$ for a plate of gnocchi that beat my Nona's. The portions weren’t huge, but that’s why it’s so cheaply priced. The inexpensive dishes allowed us to get an 8$ starter, and a full pitcher of sangria. By the end, we were stuffed. I’ll be recommending this place to everyone I know heading to Ottawa, and we will be back tomorrow for lunch.

Wonderful! The small portion sizes are awesome for sharing, the root fries and breaded avocado are absolutely to die for, and our server Justine was absolutely lovely- extremely friendly and very happy to recommend dishes and check ingredients for us to be sure nothing would disagree with my mom's egg intolerance. Would absolutely recommend this place!
